By straying for a moment from the main path, you can discover this small beach on the banks of the Fier. This river, a tributary of the Rhône, boasts a rich and varied natural environment along its banks.

This parking lot is perfect for starting a hike to the Tête du Parmelan, located 700 meters higher at 1,804 meters above sea level.

Being close to the lake when the weather is nice is cool, but watch out for the crowds.

The tree unfortunately suffered from the drought in 2023 and appears to be dead.
