The banks of the Seines are exceptional and do not present any particular difficulties.

The Pont de Tancarville is a suspension bridge which crosses the Seine and connects Tancarville to the Marais-Vernier. The bridge was completed in 1959 and was the first of its type in France. You can enjoy views of the river and surrounding countryside from the bridge, or follow one of the many trails surrounding it.

The ruins of Tancarville Castle are an ancient medieval fortress overlooking the Seine. You can admire the impressive architecture of the 11th century castle, which was once the seat of the powerful Tancarville family and the inspiration for many artists and writers.

The ancient theater of Juliobona is the ancient theater of Lillebonne. This impressive monument, built in the 1st century then enlarged and fortified, is one of the largest and best preserved Roman theaters north of the Loire. You will be able to discover the remains of the stage, the orchestra and the stands, and imagine the shows that took place there: dramas, comedies, gladiator fights and religious ceremonies. You can also enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the Seine valley from the top of the theater. The site is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and entry is free.
