Erwin Wurm's NARROW HOUSE (2010) is installed in Square Claude Érignac in Le Havre, France. The structure is a reinterpretation of Wurm's childhood home, a typical 1960s suburban house surrounded by a wooded landscaped garden in Le Havre, creating the impression of a residential neighborhood. Admission is free!

The Parc de Rouelles in Le Havre is a beautiful 198-hectare urban park, laid out on the site of a former farm. It retains its 17th-century manor house and dovecote, and also features a perennial garden, a deciduous tree park, themed exhibitions on nature, and a collection of tools and traditional objects from rural life. Since 2010, Scottish oxen have been used to maintain the meadows, and there are three playgrounds, a sports field, a petanque court, 22 km of footpaths and picnic areas.

This work of art entitled "Catène de Containers" simply cannot be overlooked. Both the size of the object with the two interlocking arches and the bright colors make it an involuntary eye-catcher. This installation was created by Vincent Ganivet, and the reason for its construction was a proud event in 2017: the 500th anniversary of the port of Le Havre.

Almost completely destroyed during the war, the reconstruction of Le Havre, which began in 1945, was entrusted to the office of the French architect Auguste Perret. Concrete specialists (Le Corbusier went to learn concrete construction from them), the Perret brothers decided to make Le Havre the place to implement their urban planning and construction thinking. Walking through the city and marveling at the typological richness of their buildings, visiting the Auguste Perret show apartment, and stopping at the Saint-Joseph church, is to fully experience the success of a utopia. The church, which is designed as a beacon for the city, implements the incredible stylistic richness of concrete, its raw strength, its capacity for elevation, the freedom it offers to the creation of free volumes: all of this staged in the service of worship: a jewel!

Before arriving at the beach, the Porte Océane is designed as a real passage between the city and the sea. Completed in 1956, it also constitutes one of Auguste Perret's major contributions to Le Havre, inspired by his project for the wears Maillot in Paris (1931). Promenade Des RégatesThe Porte Océane, made up of two 13-story towers and two low buildings, symbolically represents the gateway to the city for transatlantic ships from New York. A symbolic threshold between the maritime universe and the reconstructed city, the Porte Océane is, with the town hall square and the southern waterfront, one of the three monumental groups vertically punctuating the reconstruction triangle. Parallel to the two towers, the buildings closing the esplanade to the west form a screen against the winds. They are connected to the towers by perpendicular buildings of the same height, forming a square square crossed in the middle by Avenue Foch.
