The snack bar at Col de Voza has a lovely terrace in the summer. Delicious ice cream, a BBQ, and even live music. A very relaxed atmosphere.

It looks like a picture of beautiful Switzerland. It is a meeting point for numerous routes, and also a stop for the Montblanc tramway. In fact, here we rode to be taken down to Le Fayet.

Situated at 1,657 metres (5,436 ft). the col de Voza is a stunning and popular spot above Chamonix. and St.Gervais les Bains. It's also a train stop for the highest mountain railway in France - to Bellevue at 1,800 metres (5,905 ft) in the winter and the Nid d'Aigle at 2,372 metres (7,782 ft) in the summer.

"La Porte du Bonheur" on the Tour du Mont Blanc is a captivating name that translates to "The Door of Happiness." This enchanting spot along the trail is more than a geographical point; it's a symbolic threshold to the joy and beauty that the Mont Blanc region unfolds. As trekkers traverse the Tour du Mont Blanc, they encounter "La Porte du Bonheur," an arch or a scenic vantage point that frames the breathtaking landscapes.

The Col du Bonhomme is located in the south-east of Haute-Savoie and entirely within the municipal territory of Contamines-Montjoie, the administrative limit with Beaufort passes on the side of the pass, about one kilometer further south than the line peak1. It constitutes a relatively easy natural passage between the Bonhomme rock and the Pennaz needles, thus making it possible to communicate the Montjoie valley to the north with the Beaufortain to the southwest1: the two sections of the old national road 202 interrupted between the Chapieux to the south and Notre-Dame-de-la-Gorge to the north were to be connected via the Col du Bonhomme before the project was abandoned. The Col du Bonhomme is known for its singular Sandstones, a predominantly siliciclastic sedimentary system discovered by de Saussure in 17792, and whose origin is enigmatic3.

At the summit station of of the Brévent, at the cable-car station, there is a refreshment point (Bar) in addition, you can also take advantage of the large terraces for a moment of quiet and contemplation. From the summit of the Brévent, there is the steep and long path down to the Aiguillette des Houches, traveling the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB). From Chamonix it is possible to reach the summit of the Brévent by cable-car which takes you up to Plan Praz at 2.000 m, and then a second cable-car up to the Brévent at 2.525 m (and vice versa of course)

The Col de la Seigne marks the border between France and Italy. Upon arrival at the pass, a wonderful scene unfolds before you: the southern slope of Mont Blanc dominates the Val Veny, the first of the Italian valleys that extends below. Since the time of Ancient Rome, and especially in the Middle Ages, this passage between the Valle d'Aosta and Savoy has been used extensively. The Tour du Mont Blanc also passes through here, a legendary hike first developed at the end of the 19th century. It is considered one of the points with the most spectacular views.

The Col de la Seigne is a pass that connects the Chapieux valley through the valley of the glaciers in the southwest of Savoy (France), with the Val Vény in the northeast in the Aosta valley. It is located between the Aiguille des Glaciers (3,817 m) and the Seigne mountain. A climb between 2:30 and 3:30 from Glacier City is still accessible to a large number of walkers.

When coming from Bellevue up to the col, it's worth taking the new path section that skirts the flank of the Mont Vorassay. It's more gradual, has some spots of shade, and less erosion. It's also less travelled as slightly less direct. Just follow the path with the TMB flag at the junction halfway between the passerelle and the col.
