A spectacular, climbing trail along a river gorge, with five beautiful waterfalls, sturdy wooden walkways, and several steps. Naturalist Achilles Cazin, along with local carpenters, built the wooden paths and bridges between 1871 and 1875.

A beautiful family hike below Les Fiz and Pormenaz, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc and the valley. From here, you can access Lake Pormenaz via three trails, including "La Chorde," reserved for those with mountain feet, with cable passages and ladders, and "Les Argentières," a less challenging route with cable passages and steps, and then the one passing through the Pierre à l'Ours on the mountainside.

Spectacular stream crossing without a bridge with rushing meltwater... If you're not careful, your feet will quickly get wet.

At 1,950 m the route goes from La Chorde past a small lake to Lac Pormenaz.

At 1,780 m, an iron ladder supports the further ascent to Lac de Pormenaz.

Le Chatelet D'Ayères at 1.415m altitude is a small family accommodation at 1415 m altitude, nestled close to the Fiz mountain range with excellent views of Mont Blanc

Only possible to get here by buying an entrance ticket! But definitely worth it!
