Beautiful lake located next to the Gers Refuge and below Col Pelouse

Once you reach the Bostan summit, this is the next point to refuel

From here, you can go back down the other side or continue up to the top of the lake. Be careful, the path back is very dangerous if you're afraid of heights and don't wear proper footwear. It's a very steep descent; there are wire ropes on the rock faces, but not everywhere. And you'll be walking over rocks where you can't immediately see where the trail leads. It's best to go back the way you came.

A beautiful family hike below Les Fiz and Pormenaz, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc and the valley. From here, you can access Lake Pormenaz via three trails, including "La Chorde," reserved for those with mountain feet, with cable passages and ladders, and "Les Argentières," a less challenging route with cable passages and steps, and then the one passing through the Pierre à l'Ours on the mountainside.

The Bostan refuge, located at an altitude of 1,763 meters, welcomes all hikers. Since its construction in the 80s, it has continued to evolve to become the large, warm, comfortable and friendly chalet that it is now. It has 72 beds and its panoramic terrace welcomes all hikers for a sunny break, a drink and even a good meal.

Le Chatelet D'Ayères at 1.415m altitude is a small family accommodation at 1415 m altitude, nestled close to the Fiz mountain range with excellent views of Mont Blanc

The Chésery refuge is an old stable which was rehabilitated in 1987. Nestled at an altitude of 1,981 meters in a dream setting, it offers a unique mountain experience just a stone's throw from Lac Vert.
