Beautiful lake located next to the Gers Refuge and below Col Pelouse

A beautiful family hike below Les Fiz and Pormenaz, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc and the valley. From here, you can access Lake Pormenaz via three trails, including "La Chorde," reserved for those with mountain feet, with cable passages and ladders, and "Les Argentières," a less challenging route with cable passages and steps, and then the one passing through the Pierre à l'Ours on the mountainside.

The refuge occupies an idyllic setting with a huge panorama of the Aravis mountain range and the Bouchet valley. It has a large dormitory with 30 beds. It is also possible to eat there and book a half-board package which includes breakfast and dinner.

Located at an altitude of 2,000 meters on the Mont Blanc massif, the Mont Joly refuge offers a magnificent setting whether you are spending the night or simply stopping over. The dormitories have a limited number of places (15 beds) and offer a catering service to please you in the morning or evening.
