very nice hike, ascent given in 4 hours. panoramic view of all the surrounding mountains (including Mont Blanc), as from all the peaks of the Bauges at over 2000m.
It is a superb summit, at an altitude of 1,841 meters. From here, we have an incredible panorama of the Bauges and Mont Blanc. A cross marks the top, where there is also a small orientation table.
Mont d'Armenaz is located at 2,158 meters above sea level. It is the sixth highest summit of the Bauges! With a little luck, you will come across chamois in the area.
Pointe de la Fougère rises to 1,849 meters. From there, there is a superb view of the ridge path, the Pécloz and the Bauges massif. A small cross marks the top of the Point.
