The Passerelle de la Malate is a pedestrian and cycle bridge in Besançon, France. Opened on 9 August 2010, it connects the Route de la Malate to the Prés-de-Vaux area by crossing the Doubs. Although it is an impressive project for cyclists and pedestrians, it is unfortunately not used to its full potential. To make the bridge truly useful, a 2.5 km green cycle path should be created between the end of Chemin des Prés de Vaux and Chemin des Prés in Chalezeule. This would allow cyclists to travel directly from the bridge to the nearby camping area and the city centre.

The Pont de Chardonnet is a bridge over the River Doubs in the French city of Besançon. The bridge was built in 1938 as part of a project to connect the port of Besançon to the railways. The bridge is made of reinforced concrete and has three arches with a span of 43.38 meters each. The bridge was blown up by military authorities on June 16, 1940, during World War II, and later rebuilt. The bridge is now used for pedestrian traffic and connects the Prés-de-Vaux and Bregille districts with the historic center of the city. The bridge is an example of 20th century modern architecture in Besançon.

This belvedere is one of the most spectacular in the heights of Besançon. It opens a wide window onto the Doubs valley, the Citadel of Besançon and the Jura mountains. As a bonus, when the horizon clears, you can also enjoy a superb view of the Mont-Blanc range. This belvedere is also an opportunity to learn a little history since you are on the site of Fort Woirol with several observation posts and the Montfaucon redoubt.

This former railway bridge now serves as a cycle and pedestrian path. It offers two superb views of the Doubs as well as the Citadel.
