Idyllic segment of the path along the wooded park of the Haras National. The small guinguette at the level of the Bergerie is a nice place to take a break. The Blavet canal allows you to join the Nantes to Brest canal, which crosses Brittany from East to West.

The walled city is located inside the Hennebont fortress. It was built in the second half of the 13th century. A prison was located in the so-called Bro'Erec'h towers. The famous bandit Marion du Faouêt would have been incarcerated there. She was tried and hanged in Quimper in 1755.

From the Quai Saint-Caradec, you have beautiful views of the ramparts and gardens of the town of Hennebont. You can easily take the bridge in front of you to visit the city while avoiding road traffic.

Beautiful small medieval town where time must have stood still. No card payment, no food btw 2 pm and 7 pm, and the Cappuccino comes with handmade whip. Love it!
