The wonderful Storchennest Inn in Estorf hosts weddings and other celebrations. It offers a very beautiful setting for a relaxing stay. The Eichhof farm was once located here. Anno 1520 Lower Saxony Cultural Monument Today, it houses a barn, the view of which has been beautifully preserved.

A little info from the internet: From the outside, the church, built in 1696, is a simple half-timbered church. Inside, it features a magnificent Baroque pulpit altar and an imposing depiction of the Last Judgment in the sanctuary. There's also a Baroque-style baptismal font dating from 1714.

The small inland harbor is located on the Weser River, with moorings for smaller ships and boats and adjacent green spaces. The area is easily accessible via the Weser Cycle Path and offers a short, worthwhile detour to the waterfront—with views of the quiet harbor activity and the scenic riverside area.

I've cycled past here many times, rain or shine, the barrage is simply a part of the Weser Cycle Route :)
