It is one of the main towns in the Maurienne valley. At the end of the Col de la Madeleine, Col de Chaussy and on the other side of the river where the Col del Glandon begins. A good place to establish a base for several days of route through the valley and surrounding areas. Lots of shops, restaurants and good cheeses!

This secondary road joins the main road of the Col de la Madeleine. It allows you to enjoy the sumptuous environment that surrounds you with less traffic than on the main road. The climb is no less difficult!

The Col de la Madeleine connects the Tarantaise and Maurienne valleys. It is part of the family of exceptional passes with more than 1,500 meters of vertical drop on each of its sides.
