Aups is a truly beautiful place with many small streets and beautiful houses. The market, which takes place there regularly, is well worth a visit. Plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit, delicious cheese, and other good things from Provence. The most beautiful bike ride from there leads to Tourtour – a wonderful little town with good restaurants!

The medieval village of Tourtour is located 27 km north-west of Draguignan in the Var department. Tourtour is a very picturesque and beautifully preserved village, which is also included in the list of the most beautiful villages in France. Tourtour is now a popular holiday resort, and unfortunately also a holiday resort that is almost deserted outside of the season. However, the village is definitely worth a visit, especially because of its beautiful location.

The characterful village of Ampus is revealed at an altitude of 600 metres in the foothills of the Verdon - and the Provençal soul is revealed. It invites you to take a stroll along the water path and then the Stations of the Cross before taking a break in one of the village squares.

The Sainte-Croix bridge, or Galetas bridge, spans the Verdon River at the exit of the gorges. Here you have a breathtaking view of the gorges, as well as the Sainte-Croix lake.
