Beautiful gravel connection, varied, numerous streams in this part of Savès, the fords can be difficult to cross after the rain, numerous footbridges have been built to facilitate this passage. Note, along the Touch near the Chancholle farm (before Puy-de-Touges), we had to go up towards the farm that day because the Touch was too high and the passage problematic. The climb to the farm is private, the owner friendly but prefer, if you cannot stay on the Gr and cross the Touch, the grassy strip to the road which joins the D626b

Beautiful chateau near Cazaux-Saves. Unfortunately you cannot visit it as it is privately owned.

Calm and quiet lake deep in the country side. Very appreciated bu the locals for a jog or walking the dog on a summer’s day. Wading birds and other wildlife gather in the shallower parts of the lake.
