Refuge Alt. 2009m, in the commune of Aime la Plagne, located on the GR tour of Beaufortains at the foot of the Pierra Menta near the Presset refuge Alt. 2514m. Lac d'Amour, Lac de Presset. In the valley which goes up to the refuge, at the level of the Aval chalet Patou protection dog zone (check the sheepdog zones with pasto-kezako.fr and Waffapp.)

It welcomes all visitors and provides information about the park. It is a stop on the GR5 long-distance hiking trail. Les Chapieux is a locality of France located in Savoie, in the commune of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Surrounded by the Beaufortain and Mont-Blanc massifs, it is located at the mouth of the Vallée des Glaciers, upstream from that of Les Chapieux, at the foot of the Cormet de Roselend. It includes a few private secondary dwellings, a refuge, a camping area, a holiday center, a few bars and restaurants, a tourist information center as well as a large parking lot which serves as a starting point for the shuttle serving the Ville des Glaciers. my video of the half-tour of Mont Blanc from Courmayeur https://youtu.be/vG8z5mtBbzI
