The Presset refuge is nestled in a spectacular setting, on the edge of the lake of the same name and at the foot of the Pierra Menta. A great place to take a break or spend the night!

Refuge de Presset (2514 m) is a newly built in 2011 FFCAM hut. Convincing modern architecture, organized according to strict ecological guidelines. 30 beds in 5 bedrooms with beds in three floors. Central hall-like lounge, beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the nearby and famous Pierra Menta and the southern massifs of the French Alps. Right next door is the crystal-clear Lac de Presset, from where the hut gets its drinking water.

Excellent welcome, with meal, coffee and dessert. Magnificent view of the peaks to the south: Pierra Menta, Roc de la Charbonnière, Pointe de Cerdosse, Mont Rosset.
