Since 2010, the municipality of Volckerinckhove has had a horse-powered mill built by the Yser Houck association, using documents found in the archives and plans produced by ARAM. This type of small horse-powered mill, once common in Flanders, no longer existed in the region, which is why the Yser Houck association decided to rebuild it.
