It can be discovered from several hiking trails starting from Aslonnes. Worth the detour. Remains mysterious, a few signs explain its original function.

This stone cabin is located about a kilometer west of the village, its construction, in dry stone, dates back to the 19th century. It borders, a few dozen meters away, a local dirt road going from Aslonnes to Jouarenne.

Using the power of moving water to drive a mill wheel is an ancient invention that dates back to pre-Christian times. Thanks to such a construction, human or animal muscle power could easily be replaced by a watercourse - natural or artificial - in order, for example, to grind grains into grain.
