The castle isn't open to the public except for specific events, so check the calendar. It's located just across from Beauvoorde's beautiful church and cemetery. A little further down the street, you'll also find the old pancake bakery and pancake house. You used to be able to visit both, but now there's a vending machine selling the famous Beauvoorde pancakes.

An old hunting lodge dating from 1902. It was built by order of landowner Emile Valcke as a wedding present for his niece Martha Valcke who married Mr. Marcel Vandecasteele. In Roesbrugge, a 'hop shoot' from France, the artisanal brewery Werbrouck is located. Their beer is brewed according to ancient brewing methods with their own recipes. Within a stone's throw of each other, in the region around Poperinge, there are two churches dedicated to Saint Martin, namely the church in Haringe and the church in Roesbrugge. However, the history of both churches is far apart. The church in Roesbrugge is a lot younger than the church in Haringe. No remains of the first 15th century mentions of the chapel have been preserved. The hall church, built in the 17th-18th century, had to replace the chapel. The church suffered serious damage once in its existence, during the Second World War. Several memorial plaques hang on the left outer wall of the church. A number also commemorate the First World War. During the First World War, the church tower served as a receiving and transmitting post for communication via telegraph and telephone.

The Sint-Martinuskerk in Haringe is a historic parish church dating back to the 11th-12th century. The church has a rich history and has undergone several fires and renovations. The current church is a late Gothic brick hall church with a crossing tower made of iron sandstone. The interior contains baroque elements, including paintings, statues and an impressive organ from 1778. The church is an important cultural heritage and still hosts summer organ concerts.

The current hall church is a 16th century Gothic-style conversion of the original Romanesque church from the second half of the 12th century. The brick part of the nave and the lower part of the tower are remains of the old church. The pseudo-Romanesque gable with rose window and part of the octagonal crossing tower are 19th century. In the church you will find the mausoleums of the first counts of Watou, Karel van Ydeghem (+ 1630) and Maria van Cortewyle and of the mystic Karel Grimminck (1676-1728).
