A little corner of freshness which is very welcome in summer. From here you see the Dessoubre river being born in a succession of small waterfalls which emanate from the rocks of the Cirque de Consolation.

This hotel restaurant is located on the water's edge, at the confluence of the Dessoubre and the Reverotte. If you are a lover of river fish, you are in the right place for a foodie.

It is in the town of Fins that the Montbéliarde breed of cows, now well known with its , was born, resulting from the crossbreeding between Franche-Comté and Swiss breeds during the 18th and 19th centuries. This is a mixed breed cow, raised for its meat but also and above all for its milk. This is the origin of a certain number of well-known cheeses such as Comté, Bleu de Gex, Morbier or Mont d'Or.

The Dessoubre has its source in the Cirque de Consolation, at Consolation-Maisonnettes, and meanders through this superb valley. The valley is also classified as ZNIEFF (natural zone of ecological, fauna and flora interest), which means that it is a natural space considered remarkable. The Consolation site itself is also known for its monastery, viewpoints, waterfalls and botanical gardens.

About 500m further down the river there is a beautiful viewpoint Ambon di du Baron. Right before the 🏡 it goes up. Great river view.

The Roche du Prêtre offers a breathtaking view of the Cirque de Consolation below as well as the forests and hills of the region.
