The Grand Crêt, at an altitude of 1,702 m, offers a magnificent view of the entire Alps, dominated by Mont Blanc. With a good pair of binoculars, in good weather, and unless I'm mistaken, the Matterhorn (4,478 m) in Switzerland is visible!

Great shelter with 6 beds, wood stove with pots for cooking and heating. There is enough wood available. Small solar system that generates electricity for lights and a USB connection for charging your smartphone. Water available from a well about 50m below the hut.
