Lake Lamoura is the highest in the Jura. Located at the foot of the Massacre forest, in a preserved natural setting, the lake offers exceptional flora. Peat bogs, aquatic moss, meadows, in short, it's magnificent! Games for children and a picnic area have been set up at the edge of the lake and swimming is permitted there.

Prémanon is a small village located in the Jura department. Its picturesque landscapes include rolling hills, dense forests, and the majestic Jura Mountains.

Lac Lamoura is a beautiful lake nestled in the Jura mountains in France. Surrounded by lush forests, it offers a serene setting for outdoor activities.

This forest was formerly called forest of the frasse (in reference to the ash trees, in old French, which populate it). It was after the battle between the Savoyards and the army of Italian mercenaries of François 1st that the forest took its current name. This very extensive and dense forest is a privileged refuge for the local fauna.

Beautiful lake where you can swim. Nice boardwalk for a round more. Picnic tables and BBQ.

The road can be a bit busy in the summer but the lake is really cute.
