Located at 1,586 meters above sea level, near a road, the refuge owes its name to an old sheepfold. At the foot of Monte Renosu, the cottage is relatively well equipped and has a bar-restaurant.

The Onda refuge has a large site dedicated to the bivouac in addition to its 28 beds. Nestled at 1,480 meters above sea level, it is located in a remarkable setting.

The refuge is situated above = higher up than the bergeries where the guardien lives. The tent spaces are next to the bergeries (downhill from the refuge) in an enclosure to keep cattle and wild pigs away. Refuge has 16 beds, kitchen, toilet behind the refuge in separate small building.

Beautiful campsite with all amenities. The place is ideal for spending the night outside the conditions of the GR 20 or for doing a stage and a half from Vizzavone. The Prati refuge is located a little above, after a short walk. The campsite restaurant is very good and the service is incredibly efficient. Be careful, however, in season, there must be a lot of people.

These sheepfolds are magnificent. Clinging to a small mountainside and very well maintained, they are truly picturesque. They were closed when we were there, but we still lingered to admire them and take a look.

We stopped at this refuge for a lunch break. The shaded terrace under the sun was more than welcome. We could have spent the afternoon strolling and resting there, but we left. The place is very pretty and some beautiful hikes outside the GR20 start not far away.

This refuge is hidden in a flat area in the middle of the mountains. It's a good place to stop with horses, but they are free on the paths, while humans have to camp in the enclosure! It is not the most beautiful refuge of the GR20, is must be unlivable in high season.
