Directly adjacent to the staircase leading from the Church of the Assumption to Creuzburg's town center, the former city wall of Creuzburg is still clearly visible. A long stretch of the city wall is still very well preserved here.

An ideal starting point for hikes through and around Creuzburg. The parking lot is located directly next to the historic stone bridge and very close to the Liborius Chapel. An information board with hiking options is located at the parking lot.

In Creuzburg, some parts of the city fortifications are still preserved. The wall, especially up to the churchyard church, is still intact.
