The Deauville racecourses are a meeting place for European horse lovers.

The Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Secours Church, locally known as the Church of Bon-Secours, is a Catholic church located in Trouville-sur-Mer in Calvados. It was rebuilt in 1883 by the architect Toutain. This large church of neo-Gothic inspiration with a neo-classical style facade dominates the city with its high polygonal slate bell tower. The interior is illuminated by colorful stained glass windows, with lancets and oculi. We notice a pulpit from 1880 and confessionals in the troubadour style. The fonts at the entrance are in the shape of dolphins supporting a large scallop shell.

A vestige of the 19th century, the casino gives directly to the boulevard which runs along the sea.

Unlike neighboring Deauville, Trouville-sur-Mer on the banks of the Touques was not designed as a fashionable holiday destination with a racetrack, regatta and casino, but was long a quiet fishing village. This changed with the rail connection, the establishment of the casino and the opening of numerous hotels and new restaurants in the 19th century.
