The small sacred monument we encounter here is a universal symbol of the death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was crucified and became human – but at the same time, it is also a symbol of the overcoming of death in the resurrection. Thus, all crosses point us to the Easter perspective of hope – inherent in Christianity – which, through faith in God, firmly trusts in the ability to overcome death and suffering. The Bay of Ladies has several coves where it is good to swim in complete isolation. You can walk from one to the other to alternate between hiking and relaxing on the sand.

The tip of Pen Bé offers a superb setting. Secret coves nestled at the foot of the cliffs and the view of the Més salt marshes and the Pointe de Merquel are well worth the detour.

Before reaching the tip of Pen Bé which is at sea level, you can take advantage of this much higher point of view and the cliffs which offer you beautiful views of the surrounding coastline.

At the tip of Pen Bé, the flat, rugged rocks make rock pools a fun pastime. This region is well known for its salt marshes, but also for oyster farming.

Rock pools interspersed with beaches, this bay is a natural and rugged landscape that you will enjoy at any time.
