When leaving Paris along the Seine, I recommend crossing the left bank from Villeneuve Saint Georges. Industrial landscapes give way to wooded banks on the Coudray-Montceaux side. very nice bike path.

Here is a nice corner for lovers of street art and graffiti. The designs blend well with the natural setting. The building is abandoned which adds a picturesque touch to the murals. You can then take the opportunity to stop and admire the Seine.

The Coudray-Montceaux lock offers lovely views over the Seine valley and the banks of the river at the level of Plessis-Chênet in Évry. It also takes a look at the city's industrial past. We see boats passing by and water flowing. The lock that you see dates from 2013 but it succeeds other constructions dating from the 19th century. They all had the same goal: to control the water level of the Seine to promote the circulation of boats.
