As you walk along the towpath near the Château de Trousseau, you’ll be transported back in time. This historic château, once a grand residence for French nobility, is now a testament to the region’s rich heritage. As you explore the grounds, you’ll discover centuries-old trees, tranquil ponds and picturesque gardens. The towpath itself offers a peaceful escape, winding alongside the river and offering stunning views of the château and its surroundings.

Here you can enjoy a small beach on the banks of the Seine. A stop is essential, the time to refuel and soak your feet in the water. It is one of the rare sites where we have this type of access to the river. It is impressive how crystal clear the water is at this level. It's hard to believe that this water reaches the heart of Paris!

The Évry dam offers a new perspective on the Seine. The lock makes it possible to control the level of the Seine and to encourage the circulation of boats, traders or tourists. It is a way of taming nature to allow good cohabitation with human life. Without disturbing nature too much!
