At the beginning of the route the path is very overgrown, much overhanging greenery. At the hermit's chapel the road is closed. Attempts to cross the bridge are at your own risk. Caution is advised.

The Baye pond has an equipped beach where you can take a break and swim.

This reservoir was created in the 19th century and is classified as a “Sensitive Natural Area”. An interpretive trail allows you to go around the pond.

Otherwise called the Chapelle d’Épiry. It is located on the banks of the Yonne in the hamlet of Chandelier, in the commune of Épiry. According to several legends, it had a miraculous spring on the hillside, the spring cured sore throats and lungs. The Chapel was built for a hermit. Its Bell dated 1600.

The site of lock 02 on the Seine slope, known as Crain lock at La Collancelle. There you will find 16 locks on a 3 km stretch of the Nivernais canal. It's a great place to watch boats pass by and see the lock in action.

A protected and wild setting of 17 ha. There is a campsite, a sandy beach, and swimming is supervised in July and August. Rental of canoes and kayaks, pedal boats are available for rental. There is also a snack bar open in high season. A nice place for a break.

Do not miss! A special sculpture of a cow placed high above the entrance. Try asking the locals why and how it ended up there...

The Château d’Aunay-les Bois is listed as a historic monument. It is presented in a predominantly 17th century condition, probably on older bases. It underwent significant work campaigns in the 18th century. In 2021, the fire spread to the entire castle and only the northeast tower retained its roof and floor.
