The single trail is on the north side of the railway embankment (photo 1). On the south side of the embankment is a wide road (photo 2). Beavers are feeding on both sides (photo 4). This photo was taken from the south side. The buildings of the Templin lido can be seen in the background.

A beautiful example of how to renovate, preserve, and utilize a beautiful old train station. The station opened on October 1, 1904. In 2012, the town of Beelitz purchased the building, which at that time was a ruin. The Rehkopf family applied to the town to operate a restaurant in the building. Renovation began in 2016. The upper floor now houses two apartments, while the ground floor contains the restaurant and offices of the Nuthe-Nieplitztal Tourism Association.
