Long before the discovery of electricity and the associated inventions, our ancestors discovered the possibility of harnessing the power of the elements—which, while useful on the one hand, could also be a threat as a force of nature—for various purposes. Really nice village with a church and tabac which also doubles as a supermarket. Campsite right by the river and boat trips available by the bridge.

The bridge of the old road 46, crossing the Lay between L'Aiguillion-sur-Mer and La Faute, today serves only cyclists and pedestrians.
