Built in 1854 at a time when Paimboeuf was the advanced port of Nantes, before being replaced by Saint-Nazaire. It is the only lighthouse on the Loire and the most "land-based" in France because it is 10 km from the ocean.

The Lac de la Vallée Mabille is an ideal place to run. The tracks are impeccable thanks in particular to the GR3 which runs along its banks.

Lac de la Vallée Mabille, more commonly known as Lac de Savenay, is a beautiful body of water located at the eastern entrance to the town of Savenay. Artificial, the lake hosts many activities on its shores: a swimming pool, a campsite, a leisure park, a golf course and a hotel-restaurant. Very famous among the locals, this little green setting is also a delight for long-distance hikers. Indeed, the iconic GR 3 meanders along its banks.

This garden is the work of Japanese landscape artist Kinya Maruyama. It is a rather special place with towers built from recycled materials. At the top of the towers, the view of the estuary is breathtaking. There are also picnic tables, perfect for a nature break!

The house of the artist Dominique Leroy is a curiosity that attracts attention. About every two years, this resident changes the decor of the facade of his house. After having successively covered it with fabrics, wood, inner tubes, in 2022 it is now with thousands of electronic components that he has decorated his home.

An ephemeral work It is difficult to pass by without having your eye drawn to this composition made up of a multitude of electronic cards and printed circuits. The Paimblotin artist Dominique Leroy is not at his first facade. Right next to it is another facade decorated with wood this time.
