A work on the Maginot Line, this fort helped stem the advance of Italian troops during the Second World War. Damaged by Italian bombings in 1940, then abandoned, looted and degraded, the 2,400m2 of this military structure have been almost entirely restored by volunteers from the association since 1997.

The Basilica of Saint-Michel-Archange of Menton (placed under the invocation of the Archangel Saint Michael) is a minor basilica and a Catholic parish church located in the heart of the historic center of Menton. From the seaside road, majestic staircases provide gradual access to the site where, on a square with a cobbled flowerbed, the entire perspective of Baroque architecture triumphs.
