Pretty village of golden stones, at altitude, with many mountain bike trails in the forest or in the fields. In particular the museum of crazy stones, not far towards Saint Jean des Vignes.

As you explore the rugged terrain of the Couzon-Au-Mont-D'Or region, you'll encounter the challenging La Croix Vitaise trail. This demanding mountain bike route, with its steep climbs and technical descents, will test your limits and reward your efforts. As you travel the winding paths, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking views of the surrounding forests, valleys and the distant city of Lyon.

This short descent takes place among the trees. It is a winding path that winds through a dense forest. The path, lined with lush vegetation, invites you to take on a little mountain bike challenge.

Mont Thou offers an exceptional panoramic view with an orientation table to identify the different points of interest. This site has a long history of observation and defense, used for centuries to monitor the surrounding area and protect local inhabitants.

Best place for a break at sunset in the Monts d'Or! A magnificent view and a magical descent that takes you straight back to Lyon! A must-see in the region! The descent in the evening sun is rather magical and the view of the Monts du Lyonnais and Forez is magnificent! Mont Thou is the second highest peak in the Monts d'Or. It peaks at an altitude of 611 meters and offers a breathtaking view of the Saône and Lyon further south. It is easily accessible by car or on foot.
