Great panorama with bridge & Blois

Very pretty bridge in Blois, strong crossing point of this pretty city.

The Jacques-Gabriel bridge crosses the Loire from the city center of Blois on the right bank to the old suburb of Vienne on the left bank. Built of stone, its construction was completed in 1724. It is the last humpback bridge over the river.

The Château de Nanteuil is one of the many private châteaux that dot the region. It was erected in the 18th century and responds to classical architecture. Its visit is not possible but the castle remains observable from its gates.
