April 2025: The main house is currently being rebuilt after a fire in November 2024, so no catering will likely take place until the end of 2025. We recommend the holiday apartment above the donkey stable (pleasantly warm in April...).

The café was open in April 2025, run by an elderly couple. Highly recommended for a break, as it's very personal. The owner also showed us his collection of handmade sculptures.

Cattle and horses were probably secured with the belly straps so that they could then be safely fitted with horseshoes or their hooves could be trimmed.

Very elaborately designed wayside cross with floral decorations on the grounds of a farm. The victims of the First World War are remembered here.

Every now and then you get wonderful views of the high peaks of the Vosges. Great panoramas!

In the meantime, the wooden bridge has obviously been renovated and is stable!

Looked very run down and neglected in September 2024. The animals run around freely, including a large dog.

Romantic, quiet lake with a slanting jetty that doesn't look very reassuring.
