Considered by some to be one of the most beautiful castles of the 19th century, it was built in a neo-Louis XIII style between 1882 and 1887 on the ruins of an old castle destroyed during the Battle of Villersexel in 1871. Its furniture dates also from this period. Now private, it can be visited between April and October. It also serves as a reception venue for weddings or events.

The Sainte-Marie pit is a coal mine pit of the Houillères de Ronchamp. It worked from 1866 to 1958. The shaft is now backfilled but the surface framework remains. A fascinating insight into history.

The shaft Sainte Marie is one of the coal mines of Ronchamp. He was used between 1866 and 1958 very irregularly for coal mining. The reinforced concrete hoisting tower dates back to 1924, and since March 29, 2001, this last remaining architectural witness to coal mining in Ronchamp has been a monument historique.
