The bridge will be rehabilitated to integrate the greenway for soft mobility

This old suspension bridge linked Issoire on the left bank and Parentignat on the right bank. It was the first in 1831 which made it possible to cross the Allier, replacing the Parentignat, Orbeil and Pradeaux ferries. Since 1976 it has been disused and has been replaced by a more modern bridge.

Collégiale Saint-Cerneuf is the impressive building constituting the parish church of Billom. In the medieval quarter, of which it is the most important monument, its turret rises above the roofs of the houses.
