Cycling to the Pont Mirabeau in Jouques is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the serene countryside and rich heritage of Provence. This historic bridge, built in the 18th century, spans the River Arc and is surrounded by stunning scenery.

After crossing the river, turn left towards Saint Paul. You can continue uphill until you reach Saint Paul. A narrow, separate strip next to the lane makes for a relaxed climb. There wasn't much traffic anyway.

Small town on the plateau, surrounded by lots of lavender. Restaurants and souvenir shops in the town.

Bought a small snack in La Bastide des Jourdans in Vival. Check the opening times! Then a short city tour and afterwards a cozy snack on a bench in the shade in 34 degree heat.

Pierrevert is a perched village. It is one of the most picturesque and authentic in the Luberon. It is surrounded by vineyards and forests. Jean Giono wrote about Pierrevert: “This golden village like a boat carried by a wave of rocks”. I recommend that you stop on the terrace of the Minots café-restaurant. Located around the fountain, it is an ideal stop during a bike ride.

There are restaurants in the car-free old town.

Great city, highly recommended is even a casino! This does not mean the French supermarket 😉 Nice little streets and nice restaurants
