One of the best views of Calw. A large information board explains that the Gimpelstein has been known since 1520. The name probably comes from the bullfinch, which was ambushed here with a bird trap. Further up, there is a sky lounger for relaxing. The premium hiking trail "Water, Forest, and Meadow Path" also passes by here.

What a wonderful path! When you dive into the valley, you feel like you're in a fairytale forest. The path is wildly romantic, with roots and rocks in places. It leads directly along the stream, which you repeatedly cross on rocks or small bridges. Just what I was looking for!

The hiking lodge had opened its beer garden, which was very well attended given the great weather.

Seating area on the outskirts of Emberg with a good view of the Teinach valley. In the immediate vicinity there is some hiking information, as well as a lovingly planted old fountain.

Covered wooden hut with a good view of Zavelstein. In front of the hut there is a wooden lounger as an additional seating option at this rest area.

The opportunity to take a break

Nice path to walk. In summer, due to the proximity to the stream, it is cool and shady.
