An ancient city known and recognized for its religious influence, Tréguier stands on the balcony of a hill overlooking the estuary formed by the meeting of the Jaudy (coming from the south) and the Gaudy (coming from the east). The port, popular with boaters, benefits from deep waters which accommodate large vessels. Its city center, dressed in countless colors and old stones, is organized around the Saint-Tugdual Cathedral. Considered one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Brittany, it stands out as a must-see in the city. The town, crossed by the GR 34, is a major stopover for itinerant hikers.
