The Hôtel de Ville d’Ornans has been located since 1825 in part of a large building that was once the old courthouse of the bailiwick of Ornans in 1422. The former bailiwick was rebuilt in 1740. This imposing building spans the sidewalk with double arches overlooking the Rue Pierre Vernier. If you visit Ornans, this historic building is definitely worth a look! 🏛️🇫🇷

Very pretty little town.

Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne is unique. Beautifully secluded. Lots of opportunities, from climbing, cycling and hiking. And there's even a former Michelin-starred chef in the Chateâu. The cheese dairy is great and also has bread and wine. It's a picture-perfect village.

We were completely alone, with two exceptions. This old bridge just before Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne over the Lizon - the atmosphere is like in a fairytale forest.

Pure landscape - beautiful cycle paths - simply a beautiful high valley
