Thurey-le-Mont is nestled in the wooded hills north of Besançon. Its washhouse, built in the 19th century, is fed by a spring and served the village's domestic needs. It still has its stone walls and slate roof.

Etuz is a commune in the Haute-Saône department. Etuz is located on the Ognon River, which forms the border with the Doubs department. Etuz is part of the urban unit of Cussey-sur-l’Ognon and the attraction of Besançon. Etuz has a fountain and two wash houses dating from the 19th century. It also has a church dedicated to Saint-Martin, which was built in the 18th century on the site of an older church. Etuz is a rural commune, where agriculture and forestry are mainly practiced.

This belvedere is one of the most spectacular in the heights of Besançon. It opens a wide window onto the Doubs valley, the Citadel of Besançon and the Jura mountains. As a bonus, when the horizon clears, you can also enjoy a superb view of the Mont-Blanc range. This belvedere is also an opportunity to learn a little history since you are on the site of Fort Woirol with several observation posts and the Montfaucon redoubt.

Castle built in 1678 on a 7 hectare park, replacing the 'castrum', the fortified house which was previously there. A "folly" at the beginning, that is to say a house with the raised ground floor and a high Comtoise roof, it was transformed in 1827-1828, taking inspiration from Venetian houses. Quite rare fact: the castle has still belonged to the same family since its construction.

Take a look at the end of this alley so as not to miss the Château de Buthiers. Following a Gallo-Roman camp then a medieval castle, it was built in the 17th and 18th centuries and is classified as a Historic Monument, as is the Chinese pavilion which is located in its gardens. The large park of the castle is called the Bocage and is part of the Buthiers nature reserve, the oldest in Franche-Comté (dating from 1982). The site unfortunately cannot be visited because it is private.
