Very pleasant track, slightly monotonous but it's great

This splendid village is home to several remarkable buildings, such as the Cluniac priory (13th century) and the wash houses. A short walk is an opportunity to admire the lava roofs, gallery houses and dry stone walls.

Superb Voie Verte which passes through the vineyard. On this portion, we discover the Mâconnais which covers the hillsides up to the rocks of Solutre-Pouilly-Vergisson. A must that enriches this itinerary labeled “Bike & cheese”.

Beautifully located lake with a great place to stop for a break...

Lovely place all year round. Can be reached from three directions, my favorite uphill is the one from Prayés, northwest from the col.

Lake Saint-Point is nicknamed Saint-Point-Lamartine. It's a nice meeting place to cool off in summer and have a picnic with family or friends. Water activities are offered in season.
