An ancient commune in the Aubrac region of Lozere, it's a picturesque village to grab a coffee and cake in one of its cafés before heading back up into the hills.

Enimie gave her name to this village, listed among the Most Beautiful in France. The Merovingian princess, daughter of Clotaire II, became a saint of the Catholic Church. The town's medieval origins are undeniable. Strolling through the old cobbled streets of this village is a constant pleasure. Sainte-Enimie is also a great starting point for kayaking and canoeing down the Tarn Gorges.

This town has the particularity of having on its land many megaliths from the Neolithic era, mainly dolmens. Chanac also has a magnificent keep which dates from the 13th century. This small road in front of you climbs to the hamlet of Monjézieu, where you can already see its magnificent castle. This bastion seems impregnable seen from the Lot.
