Château des Ravalets, also known as Château de Tourlaville, is a magnificent castle located in Tourlaville, a commune attached to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, in the Manche department of Normandy. A small town punctuated in the summer by the presence of a campsite. There you will see the Saint-Martin church. The church, "poor", according to the vicar general René-Jean Desbordes du Plantis, was long considered an abandoned house. Sheep grazing in the honey fields were parked there at night. It did not reopen for worship until 1809. Damaged during the fighting of the Liberation in 1944, it was restored during the Reconstruction period. Paul Bony then executed the twelve stained glass windows of the church.
