To see the phenomenon of the white marshes, you have to go there in winter (January - February - March for example). The roads can be greasy and / or flooded, mudguards are good to have. Otherwise beautiful region pleasant and calm to do also the rest of the time.

During the night of June 5, 1944. A fire raged in this village. Everyone helps put out the fire. The light of the fire was then interpreted by an American plane pilot as being a sign that these passengers had been released. American paratroopers land by mistake in the town. One of the paratroopers is carried by his parachute onto the church tower where he remains hanging for hours, while the fighting rages below him. This is one of the most incongruous stories of the landing of June 6, 1944. You discover this in this town that has become legendary for history buffs.
