The Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt de Kutzenhausen is an 18th century farmhouse, with remarkable architecture, reconstituted and transformed into a museum. The Rural House in Kutzenhausen is made up of the dwelling house and its numerous outbuildings. The orchard, the artisans' workshops and a classroom from the 1930s complete the visit. The collections presented reflect the laborious and festive life of the peasant family of northern Alsace in the 1920s to 1950s. Throughout the year, temporary events and exhibitions are offered which enlighten the visitor on the know-how, traditions and calendar festivals of the region.
