The witches from the neighboring Bastberg were probably once hanged here. No view because wooded beautiful trails.

Was probably a meeting place for witches in the past - they were probably hanged up shortly afterwards on the neighboring Galgenberg. Today a mighty summit cross is supposed to keep away all sorts of occult things.

Nice bike path on a section of the old railway line between Dossenheim-sur-Zinsel and Obermodern-Zutzendorf, part of the former railway line from Steinbourg to Rastatt. Unfortunately in Bouxwiller the railway embankment is no longer completely preserved or laid out as a cycle path, and the last stretch to Obermodern does not run on the railway embankment either.
