본래 로마네스크 양식의 예배당은 오늘날 거대하고 많은 샤갈 창문을 위한 박물관으로 사용됩니다. 창문의 역사는 흥미롭습니다. 1970년에 예배당에 인접한, 허물어져 가는 건물을 철거하기로 결정되었습니다. 그 후 예배당은 복원되었습니다. 철거로 인해 예배당은 동쪽으로 열리게 되었습니다. 마르크 샤갈은 이 개구부를 스테인드글라스 창문, 즉 1976년에 완성된 평화의 창문으로 막는 임무를 맡았습니다.

The window "La Paix" ("Peace") was completed in 1976. Peace – symbolic, biblically inspired. In the context of openness to the east, the window functions not only as a closure of the opening, but as a source of light, as a space open to the light. Work on it took two years. Dimensions: approximately 12 meters high x 7.5 meters wide. Weight approximately 900 kg. Chagall designed the window, which was created together with the stained-glass artist Charles Marq in the Atelier Simon in Reims.

The former monastery is now a hotel that is also suitable for cycling tourists.

The Sarrebourg water and swimming area, formerly known as L’étang Lévêque (or Lévêque Pond), changed its name in 1984 and became the municipal pond. A change that was made in 1984, when the town hall bought the land that now serves as a recreational area from a private company. The loop walk around the pond is worth it.
